| These paintings were done while listening to a compilation CD of old blues singers. The connection with the images I was painting was extremely strong, thus the paintings were completed in a remarkable amount of time. The almost "comic book" style was a direct reflection of the spirit of those few days and the sounds from the old recordings. |
